ewan, a college freshman, becomes obsessed with his housemate, mina, when she reveals herself a member of an
underground support shelter for youths addicted to blood drinking and blood-letting. ewan, experimenting with self-mutilation,
becomes a member of the group with hopes of winning over the troubled dominatrix.
through his encounters and friendships with other kids in the house, ewan discovers how the institution holds a coveted position
in the city by pulling disturbed kids and addicts off the street and reforming them to become wards. they are fed a mysterious
drug designed to fight negative compulsions. the drug, however, has an unfortunate side effect: its users are left with the craving
to feed upon human flesh.
